Overview

The Microsoft® Office XP Web Services Toolkit 2.0 brings the power of XML Web services to Office XP by enabling developers to use the Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI) Business Registry or the URL to a Web Services Description Language (WSDL) file to reference XML Web services.

The Office XP Web Services Toolkit 2.0 supports SOAP 3.0 and complex data types. It was updated in March 2004 to support Windows 2000 SP4.

System Requirements

  • Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000; Windows 98; Windows ME; Windows NT; Windows XP

Additional Requirements:
  • At least one application with VBA installed.

Instructions

Important: Before downloading and installing this product, ensure that you meet the system requirements, and uninstall any previous versions of the Web Services Toolkit.
  1. Click the Download link to start the download.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.
    • To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk.


Note:The Microsoft Office XP Web Services Toolkit is not a supported Microsoft product. The code is provided on an "as-is" basis and support is provided through a peer-to-peer newsgroup, microsoft.public.office.developer.vba.

Additional Information

Mainstream SOAP Toolkit support will be retired in March 31, 2005 with Extended Support lasting until March 31, 2008.
