Overview

The 3-D Rotation add-in affords you greater control when rotating three-dimensional objects in your Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentations. You'll be able to rotate objects in one-degree increments (as opposed to the default of five-degree increments) on all three axes. Note that this add-in only works with three-dimensional, and not one-dimensional, objects.

To install this download

  1. You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
  2. Download the file from this page by clicking the Download link above and following the instructions in the dialog boxes.
  3. Double-click the 3drotate.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.


Instructions for use:

In order to use the add-in, you must first load it into PowerPoint.

Adding the 3D Rotation Add-In

  1. Go to the Tools menu, and click on Add-ons.
  2. Click on OK. Back at the Add-Ins dialog, click Close.


Now, you have a new menu item under Tools called 3D Rotation. Choose a three-dimensional object on the page, and then choose this menu item. The Rotate 3D Object dialog box will appear.
