Overview
The Microsoft Office Visio 2003 SDK provides developers with tools, samples, and documentation to support custom solution development on the Visio 2003 platform using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 development tools. The SDK is intended for beginning to advanced Visio programmers and Office developers in ISVs, SIs and corporate development environments. This SDK contains the first release of the ShapeStudio shape development environment and sample applications in Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual C#.

Instructions
To install this download:
- Download the file by clicking the Download link (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the vissdk.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:
To install the SDK components, double-click each of the .exe files in your installation directory.
To remove this download:
To remove the download file itself, delete the file vissdk.exe .
To remove the installed files, delete the following from your installation directory:
- vissdk.chm - the Microsoft Office Visio 2003 SDK Help file

Additional Information
You do not need to have the Microsoft Office Visio 2003 application installed on your computer to be able to install the Visio 2003 SDK; however, for selected code samples and tools to run properly, Visio 2003, along with other Microsoft applications, are required. Top of page
