Since issuing the initial fixes on July 27th, Microsoft has continued to review and analyze this issue in an effort to provide its customers with the highest level of security and service. The updated patches now available addresses the original security issue as well as a variant of that issue that was found during continued testing. Latest Patches for Outlook 98's Internet Explorer Components Outlook 98 uses Microsoft Internet Explorer services to provide state-of-the-art HTML display, HTML editing, scripting and security. Outlook 98 users should stay up to date by downloading the latest patches for Internet Explorer as they become available. This page covers the patch available for Outlook 98.
