Component Requirements
  • Computer and processor 700 megahertz (MHz) processor or higher
  • Memory 512 megabyte (MB) of RAM or higher
  • Hard disk 1.5 gigabyte (GB); a portion of this disk space will be freed after installation if the original download package is removed from the hard drive.
  • Drive CD-ROM or DVD drive
  • Display Minimum 800x600; 1024x768 or higher resolution monitor recommended
  • Other Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1 or later running Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services is required for certain advanced collaboration functionality.
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 SP2 or later required to use the Import Outlook Tasks feature. Visual Reports require Microsoft Office Excel 2003 SP2 or later and Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2007.

SQL Server 2005 Standard, Developer or Enterprise 32 bit or 64 bit with SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services installed is required to provide data storage and reporting functionality.
Project Professional and Project Server 2007 are required for enterprise project and resource management capabilities. Microsoft Office Project Web Access and Outlook 2003 SP2 or later required for importing tasks to the Outlook calendar or tasks list.

Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (installed as part of Microsoft Office Project Server 2007) is required for publishing projects, Windows Workflow Foundation, and Project Tasks List. Microsoft.Net Framework Version 2.0 is required for the Resource Substitution Wizard.

Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, 32-bit browser only. Internet functionality requires Internet access (fees may apply).

Office Project Portfolio Server 2007 integrates with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 to provide organizations with an end-to-end project portfolio management solution. The bidirectional gateway enables administrators to link multiple Office Project Servers to Office Project Portfolio Server 2007, providing executives with a consolidated view of all projects within the organization.
