This download contains the redistributable files for CAPICOM 2.1.0.2 and samples of its use. CAPICOM can be used to digitally sign data, sign code, verify digital signatures, envelop data for privacy, hash data, encrypt/decrypt data and more. See the ReadMe.txt file in the package for more information on the changes in CAPICOM 2.1.0.2.

CAPICOM is also supported on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Windows 98 requires Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or better.
CAPICOM is excluded from the Windows SDK beginning with the Windows SDK for Windows 7, and although the distributable will run on 32-bit versions of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems, its use is not recommended. For more information, see Alternatives to Using CAPICOM.

1. Download the file by clicking on the "Download" button.
2. Select "Save” and specify a directory on your local disk.
3. Install the package by running the self-extracting executable file. This will create a directory structure containing the redistributable and samples.
