This file also comes with Microsoft Office 97 and the Office 97 applications, in the Valupack folder on the CD.
If you have both the Inbox icon and the Microsoft Outlook® shortcut on your desktop, but want only one icon that starts Outlook, use the Outlook 97 Inbox Icon utility. It transforms the Inbox icon (installed by Windows 95 or Microsoft Exchange, also called Windows Messaging System) to the Microsoft Outlook icon. You can use this updated icon to start Outlook and delete the Microsoft Outlook shortcut icon on your desktop.

To install this download
- You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.

- Double-click the chnginbx.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:
Restart your computer. That will refresh icon and the desktop. Then you can delete or move the Microsoft Outlook icon off of your desktop.
To remove this download:
There is no Uninstall utility on this update. The files installed will become an integral part of your operating system, and cannot be removed without risking damage to your operating system.
