Brief Description

With the Live Meeting Add-in Pack, you can perform conferencing tasks directly from Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, as well as from Windows Messenger, MSN Messenger, and Office Communicator 2005.

The Live Meeting Add-In Pack consists of three distinct add-ins: the Live Meeting Add-in for Outlook, the Office Collaboration Add-in, and the Live Meeting add-in for Instant Messaging, each which offer unique features.

Live Meeting Add-in for Outlook
With the Live Meeting Add-in for Outlook, you can:

Schedule a Live Meeting from Outlook
Identify individual meeting participants as attendees or presenters
Send separate invitations for attendees and for presenters
Specify default meeting options and override those defaults for specific meetings

Live Meeting Add-in for Office Collaboration

With the Office Collaboration Add-in, you can start a Meet Now meeting directly from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, or Project. The document appears in an application sharing session.

Live Meeting Add-in for Instant Messaging

If the recipient also has the Live Meeting Add-in Pack installed, you can start a Live Meeting from Windows Messenger or from MSN Messenger.

Terms of Service

The accompanying Microsoft software includes computer software and may include associated media, printed materials, “online” or electronic documentation, and Internet-based services for use with a Microsoft software product (collectively, the “ADD-IN SOFTWARE”). The ADD-IN SOFTWARE is designated for use with the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Software (the “Software”). Your use of the ADD-IN SOFTWARE is subject to the terms and conditions of the Terms of Service under which you have previously licensed the SOFTWARE.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALIDLY LICENSED COPY OF THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO INSTALL, COPY OR OTHERWISE USE THE ADD-IN SOFTWARE.

NOTE: Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 in order to use the add-ins.

Instructions

Installation and Configuration

Close all Office applications. The installer will close these programs for you, but should close these programs first to preserve any work in progress.
To download the file on this page, click the Download files below link (above-right) and then double-click LMAddinPack.exe. (Note: If you are a Live Meeting Administrator and want to programmatically deploy the Live Meeting Add-in Pack in your company, download and deploy the LMAddinPack.msi file.)
Click Run. Any previous version of the Live Meeting Add-ins will be removed before the latest version is installed. Your current Live Meetings and any settings will be retained.
After the Live Meeting Add-in pack has finished installing, the User Preferences dialog box is automatically displayed. If you had a previous version of the Add-ins installed and working, the information should already be correct. Otherwise, select how you will specify your login information.

If you know your user login and password

Click I use a User Login and Password to access Live Meeting.
Click Live Meeting URL, and then type the URL of your conference center (for example, https://www.livemeeting.com/cc/microsoft).
Click User Login and type your Live Meeting User ID.
Click Password and type your Live Meeting password.

If your company accesses Live Meeting via an Intranet portal

Click I use an Intranet Portal to access Live Meeting.
Click Portal URL and type the URL of your Intranet portal (for example, http://lmportal). When using the Intranet Portal, you must be logged in to the corporate network to schedule Live Meetings.
To verify your login information, click Test Connection, and then click OK.
You may be prompted to open and close Outlook before the Live Meeting Add-in for Outlook appears.

To remove this download:

On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Office Live Meeting Add-in Pack and then click Remove.
