Overview
This add-in enables you to insert international characters from 26 languages into Office 2003 programs. You can do this in a single click without changing your keyboard or language settings in Office 2003. This download can be used with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (when using Microsoft Office Word 2003 as the editor), and Word 2003.
This release only supports Latin based languages.
With this download you can:
- Insert International characters into documents with just one click.
- Quickly access recently used characters from the Most Recently Used toolbar.
- Open multiple language toolbars at the same time.
- Create your own custom toolbars containing your favorite characters and symbols.
- Share custom toolbars with colleagues and friends.

Instructions
To install this download:
- Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the ict_usEN.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:
After you install this download, launch your Office 2003 program and a new command bar will be displayed. Use the tool as follows:
- To insert a character, simply click on it.
- To insert a character in uppercase, use the Shift key.
- To move a character from one toolbar to another, press the ALT key and drag it.
- To copy a character from one toolbar to another, press the CTRL and ALT keys and drag it.
- To select additional languages, choose the Select Sets option from the toolbar.
To remove this download:
To remove the download file, delete the file ict_usEN.exe.
- On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of currently installed programs, select Office 2003 Add-in: International Character Toolbar and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
- Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
