Instructions
To install this download:
- Download the file by clicking the Download link and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the Outlook2010MAPIHeaders.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
By default, the header files are installed in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Office\14.0\Include.
To remove this download:
There is no removal feature for this download.
Important: On computers that are running Windows Vista, you will not be able to install the header files to the default location if User Account Control (UAC) is turned on. To download the files to your computer, you can use one of the following methods.
To download the files to the default location:
- Turn off User Account Control.
- On the Start menu, open Control Panel.
- Open User Accounts.
- Click Turn User Account Control on or off. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
- Clear the Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer check box to turn off UAC, and then click OK. You may need to restart your computer for the change to take effect.
- Follow the preceding instructions to download the header files.
To download the files to another location on your computer:
- Start the file download as described in the preceding instructions.
- In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box, change the path in the Unzip to folder box to a location other than C:\Program Files.
- Complete the download process, and then locate the header files in the path you specified. You can either leave the files where you downloaded them, or move them to the default download folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Office\14.0\Include). If the default folder does not already exist, you will need to create it.
