Overview
The Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries is a connectivity solution that enables integration of BizTalk Server into an enterprise that uses MQSeries as their messaging standard. The solution in part addresses the following customer issues:
• Accommodates customer requests for simple installation and configuration, and an MQSeries-connectivity solution
• Uses BizTalk Server 2004 in enterprises where MQSeries is the chosen messaging standard
• Ability to send and receive transactional messages between BizTalk Server and MQSeries
• Support for large messages
• Provides MQSeries Header support
• Defines a bridge between an older messaging protocol and today's XML-based integration server
BizTalk Adapter for MQSeries is a key addition to the BizTalk Server 2004 suite of services that provide a set of listeners for various communication protocol standards. The listeners attach a protocol, for example Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and/or MQSeries, to an enterprise application integration (EAI), business-to-business (B2B), or application-to-application integration (A2A) trading relationship.

Requires BizTalk Server 2004 and MQSeries Server for Windows.

Instructions
1) Click on exe and save to disk.
2) Run the self-extracting exe BTSAdapterforMQSeries.exe and specify a location to extract the files.
3) Go to the location you extracted the files to and run setup.exe to install the product.
