OverviewThis security update addresses the vulnerabilities by modifying the way in which Office Web Components handles error conditions and memory resources. This vulnerability does not affect the ISA Server reporting mechanism or ISA Server reports. Installing this update does not affect any other applications running on the ISA Server computer. Note that this update cannot be uninstalled using Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. To uninstall this update, do the following: 1. Open Registry Editor (Regedit.exe). 2. Delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Self-Extractor\Package\{31F56F80-205C-49cb-87AD-9CCAC7D637CA. 3. Remove the value "Compatibility Flags = dword:00000400" from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{0002E510-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}. 4. Remove the value "Compatibility Flags = dword:00000400" from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{0002E511-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}.
