Incoming Call Screen Pop - Microsoft Unified Communications Client API 1.0 Sample

Brief Description
This sample illustrates how to write an application that runs on the user’s desktop and registers for incoming call notifications. When the incoming call is detected, the application can launch another application with context from the call.

Overview

In this application, when a session is detected, the Unified Communications Client API is used to find out the name of the incoming user. After discovering this information, the application scrubs the name against a database. Then, after having located relevant data, the application presents it in the form of a pop-up window.

Instructions

To install this download
  1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
  2. Double-click the downloaded program file on your hard disk to begin installation.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

To uninstall this download
  1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Incoming Call Screen Pops Sample using Microsoft Unified Communications Client API and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
  4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
