Brief Description

Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 SP2 Update, Enterprise Edition helps you synchronize identity information, easily provision and deprovision accounts and identity information and also provides password management capabilities.

Overview

Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS) 2003 SP2 Update contains numerous additions and enhancements to management agents and other existing features. Additional information can be found on the Microsoft Identity Integration Server web site or the Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 site

Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003

Minimum System Requirements
The following hardware is suggested for an installation of Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 SP2:

1 GHz processor or faster processor recommended; Pentium 4 recommended
512 MB of RAM or higher; 1 GB or more recommended
350 MB of available hard-disk space or more the default installation. Additional 1 GB of available hard disk space recommended for log file. Note: For ILM 2007 Metadirectory services and user provisioning an extra 8 GB of available hard disk space on the partition that contains the database files

CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive

Super VGA (1024 x 768) or higher-resolution monitor recommended

Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

Software requirements:

Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003, Enterprise Edition, or Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 R2, Enterprise Edition
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Microsoft SQL Server™
- 2000, Enterprise Edition, Standard Edition, or Developer Edition, with Service Pack 3a (SP3a) or higher, or
- 2005, Enterprise Edition, Standard Edition, or Developer Edition (32-bit or 64-bit) (with Service Pack 1 recommended).

Recommended software
At a minimum, if you are planning to create rules extensions, a Microsoft Visual Basic® or Visual C#® compiler is required. The following software is recommended to create rules extensions:

Visual Basic® 2005
Visual C#® 2005
Microsoft® Visual Studio® 2005 (required for projects that are auto-generated by Identity Manager)

In addition, you can also use the following editions to debug rules extensions:

Visual Basic® 2005, Express Edition
Visual C#® 2005, Express Edition
