Overview

Communicator Web Access provides IM and presence to users who are connecting either from within the corporate network or over the Internet using one of many supported Web browsers. The Communicator Web Access server components are deployed as part of a Live Communications Server 2005 SP1 deployment. For users, there are no client components to install; all that is required is a Web browser and network connectivity to the Communicator Web Access server.

Instructions

To install this download:
  1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
  2. Double-click the OfficeCommunicatorWebAccess.msi program file on your hard disk to extract the Setup program.
  3. From the directory where you extracted the files, double-click on Setup.exe to begin installation.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

To remove this download:

To remove the download file, delete the file OfficeCommunicatorWebAccess.msi.

  1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
  4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
