Overview
This tool is intended for developers and IT professionals to simulate load on a BizTalk Server. Using this tool, you can simulate load to instrument performance and stress against a BizTalk deployment. In addition, this tool may also be extended by developers to simulate load for custom transports. This tool should be used in a test environment only, and should not be used in a production environment. This tool is provided "as-is" and is not supported.

System Requirements
- Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000 Service Pack 4; Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1; Windows XP Service Pack 2
The minimum software requirements for a complete installation of this tool on a single computer include the following:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard or Enterprise (NOTE: 64 Bit not Supported.)
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Optionally, you may install the following:
- Visual Studio .NET 2002 for the purpose of extensibility.
- MSMQ 2.0 if you plan to use the MSMQ Transport. Top of page
Instructions
To install this tool, download the self extracting executable from the site and choose Save to provide a location to save the file to.
- Once the file has been saved, double-click the "LoadGen" self-extracting executable from the same location. This will initiate the installation.
- Click Setup in the Self Extraction dialog and follow the instructions in the Installation Wizard.
