Microsoft has released a patch that will resolve the “HyperTerminal saved session can execute malicious code” vulnerability that resides in the Windows NT4.0 operating system. The HyperTerminal application is a communications utility that installs by default on all versions of Windows NT4.0. The product contains two unchecked buffers through which an attacker could cause code of their choice to run on another user’s machine. Download now to prevent a malicious user from running code of their choice.
