Overview

This update addresses issues discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base Articles 824463 and 813503.

If a Web page uses the AlphaImageLoader filter to scale images, the images may not scale correctly in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Gaps may appear between images when you expect to see the scaled images exactly side by side without a gap between them.

If the script on a Web page adds and removes IFRAMEs dynamically, and an IFRAME displays an image by using the AlphaImageLoader transform, the combination of both causes Internet Explorer to crash after a few iterations.

Please Note: This update is for users with Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows Millenium and Windows NT4. For users with Windows XP (XP SP1) and Windows 2000 (SP3 and SP4), this update is available here
