This download is an application installation and configuration service for use with Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 and Windows 2000. Instmsiw.exe is the redistributable package for installing or upgrading this version of Microsoft Windows Installer.

For Windows 95, 98, and ME see Windows Installer 2.0 Redistributable for Windows 9X. Note: Microsoft Windows XP contains Windows Installer 2.0 and therefore can't be installed or upgraded by this redistributable.

Instructions

To install this download:

Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
Double-click the instmsiw.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
