Brief Description

The Microsoft Visual J#™ Redistributable Package version 2.0 includes everything you need to run your Visual J# applications on a computer that already has the Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 installed.

Overview

The Visual J# Redistributable Package is not intended to run applications written with other Java-language development tools. Applications and services built with Visual J# will run only on the .NET Framework and will not run on any Java Virtual Machine. Visual J# has been independently developed by Microsoft and is not endorsed or approved by Sun Microsystems, Inc.

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000; Windows 98; Windows 98 Second Edition; Windows ME; Windows Server 2003; Windows XP

.NET Framework v2.0: You must install the Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 redistributable package before you install Microsoft Visual J# 2.0 redistributable package.

Additional Information

Note: The Visual J# version 2.0 Redistributable Package setup will stop and restart Internet Information Services (IIS).

Visual J# v2.0 is a 32-bit only release. On 64-bit systems, it will execute in the Windows-On-Windows environment.
