Overview

Computer browsing is the act of viewing and then connecting to server computers and their shared resources using My Network Places or Network Neighborhood. This article describes the most common problems with computer browsing and the set of tools used to troubleshoot computer browsing issues on small office/home office (SOHO) networks consisting of computers running Microsoft® Windows XP, Windows® 2000, Windows Millennium Edition (Me), Windows 98, and Windows NT 4.0.
