Overview

DHTML Editing Control for Applications is a redistributable component that is available for Windows Vista to enable compatibility for MS Access 2003, and other applications which previously relied on this control in Windows XP and Windows 2003.

The DHTML Editing Control for Applications provides HTML editing capabilities in a WYSIWYG design surface made available as an ActiveX control. The redistributable package only contains the “for Applications” version of this control. The “for Applications” version of the control can be used with client applications, but cannot be loaded inside Internet Explorer.

  1. Important: Make sure you have the latest service pack and critical updates for the version of Windows that you are running. To find recent security updates, visit Windows Update.

  3. Do one of the following:
    o To start the installation immediately, click Run.
    o To save the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save.
    o To cancel the installation, click Cancel.
