Overview
The Commerce Server 2007 documentation download includes cumulative updates to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 Help.
The current update, dated December 2006, adds:
· Well over a hundred new developer topics throughout the documentation, including a new section on "Developing with Resources"
· Many more new and updated topics in the "Concepts and Tools for Business Users" section
· A reorganized "Commerce Server Staging" section
The first update, dated September 2006, included:
· Improved deployment information
· New documentation for Commerce Server Health Monitoring Service
· Many new and updated topics in the Development section. This included the new section "Developing with the Data Warehouse Analytics System"
· Many new and updated topics in the "Concepts and Tools for Business Users" section
· Updated topics in the "Commerce Server Staging" section
1. From the list below, click CS2007-DocUpdate2-x86-EN.exe extract the 32-bit update .exe file or CS2007-DocUpdate2-x64-EN.exe to extract the 64-bit update .exe file.
2. In the Commerce Server 2007 Documentation Update 2 dialog box, click Browse to open the Browse for Folder dialog box.
3. In the Browse for Folder dialog box, point to Program Files, Microsoft Commerce Server 2007, click Documentation, and then click OK.
4. In the Commerce Server 2007 Documentation Update 2 dialog box, click OK to close the dialog box and start the file extraction.
The following two files are extracted:
--CS2007-Help.exe - Installs all the updates for Commerce Server 2007 Help, including the Business Management Applications Help.
--CS2007-ClientHelp.exe - Installs updates only for Commerce Server Business Management Applications Help.
To start the documentation update:
1. Click Start, click My Computer, and then browse to the folder where you extracted the files.
2. Double-click CS2007-Help.exe to run the Setup program.
3. On the Welcome to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 Documentation Update December 2006 Installation Wizard page, click Next.
4. On the Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 Documentation Update December 2006 page, select I accept the terms of this license agreement, and then click Next.
5. On the the next Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 Documentation Update December 2006 page, click Next.
6. On The Installation Wizard has completed page, click Finish.
7. To install only the Business Management Application Help update, double-click CS2007-ClientHelp.exe and repeat the above steps.
Note: To uninstall Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 Documentation Update December 2006 or Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 Business Management Applications Documentation Update December 2006, use the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs functionality.
