Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is a full cumulative update that contains many new features building incrementally upon .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, and includes cumulative servicing updates to the .NET Framework 2.0 and .NET Framework 3.0 subcomponents.

The Microsoft® .NET Framework version 3.0 redistributable package installs the common language runtime and associated files required to run applications developed to target the .NET Framework 3.0.

Service Pack 1 for .NET Framework 2.0

The Microsoft® .NET Compact Framework 3.5 Redistributable includes everything you need to test .NET Compact Framework 1.0, 2.0 and 3.5 applications.

Installing the newly released Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 instead of this release is recommended. If you do go ahead and install this SDK after VS2008 SP1, please ensure the patch described in Knowledge Base 974479 is applied. See Overview section for more information.

Download the latest .NET Framework 1.0 Service Pack from Microsoft.

Update to .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 for the .NET Framework Assistant 1.0 for Firefox is required to address several compatibility issues with version 1.0 of the extension.
