Community & Learning Center
This area features FREE technical support from Microsoft support engineers, Hands-On Labs, spots to meet fellow attendees, and more!
The Community & Learning Center (download a floorplan) will be open the following schedule during Convergence:
Sunday, April 10, 11:30am - 6:00pm
Monday, April 11, 10:30am - 7:00pm
Tuesday, April 12, 8:00am - 7:00pm
Wednesday, April 13, 10:30am - 4:30pm
The Community & Learning Center offers many options for connecting with other attendees and Microsoft team members, such as:
Technical Support from Microsoft Support Engineers
Get FREE technical support while at Convergence. We’re offering free technical support during the event, enabling you to ask any question you have about your current implementation. Past event attendees have said that this area alone is well worth the conference fee!
Explore products in, literally, a “hands-on” environment. All of the labs are available throughout the event in a self-paced format, so you can stop by whenever the Community & Learning Center is open and take whichever labs you desire.
Networking with Fellow Attendees
Whether you’re meeting someone in the Convergence Connect area or want to have a seat for an informal chat, the Community Learning Center offers you great spots to network with fellow attendees.
Birds of a Feather Sessions
Our user group communities are hosting two different sessions of Birds of a Feather on Tuesday, April 12. These new networking activities provide an opportunity for you to meet and visit with other attendees with like-minded interests. Seating is limited; visit the Session Catalog for details on times and topics.
Computer Terminals (CommNet)
These computers are available for your use for web-based tasks such as checking email, completing session evaluations, and more. Printers and a special area for personal laptops are also available.
A wireless network will be available for your convenience. (Convergence asks you to ensure your machine is updated with all appropriate patches, antivirus software, and that an internet connection firewall is enabled. Machines that are not up to date may lose access to the network.)
Relax and unwind between sessions with Xbox, Kinect for Xbox 360, ping pong, and more!
Throughout the week you’ll be able to take part in a painting activity that is part of the volunteerism efforts at Convergence. Learn more about this on the Volunteer Events page.
