This navigation piece contains information, tools and resources that will help Convergence registered attendees prepare for the event. Schedule Builder provides a resource for attendees to create their own personalized schedule based on their breakout session choices. Connect is a structured networking tool that makes it easy to connect and network with colleagues at Convergence 2012. Attendee Info contains all those housekeeping details that will help set expectations about arriving into Houston, getting registered and beginning your Convergence experience.

Be sure to check out the Session Catalog for the latest information on breakout sessions at Convergence 2012. We’re in the content development home stretch as our content owners work to finalize their session topics and line up subject matter experts. Within the Session Catalog, you can easily identify those newly added sessions by the orange “New” signifier, which indicates sessions that have been added within the past two weeks. Take advantage of the various filters that help drill down into the catalog and identify sessions specific to your product interests, your skill level and your role. Specific times and dates for breakout sessions will be published on the website beginning in early February.

Kirill Tatarinov, President of Microsoft Business Solutions Division and Kevin Turner, Chief Operating Officer, Microsoft Corporation, will share the keynote stage at Convergence 2012 on Monday, March 19 to share their vision and insight on the latest trends, technologies and strategies.

Review the online Session Catalog to catch a glimpse at all the great breakout session content that will be available at Convergence 2012. While we’re still in the early stages of our content development, we wanted to make all the session information available as soon as things get finalized. Be sure to stop back frequently to view new information as it’s made available.

Our online survey provided an opportunity to help guide and direct content development for breakout session. We’ve had a great response and want to extend special thanks to all who’ve submitted topics and ideas. From here, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated as we begin our content development. Product functionality, strategies, new products, new technologies, current versions, upgrades, industries, panel discussions—they’re all fair game. We want to know what your hot topics are for 2012.

Take time right now to jot down your big ideas as Call for Topics will close on October 24. From there, breakout sessions will be determined, speakers will be recruited, content will be created, demos will be prepared, and before you know it, Convergence will be here!

Call for topics will be open until October 24, 2011, so don’t wait! Submit one, two or as many individual topics as you wish – we’ll evaluate each and every submission. If there’s a topic that you’re interested in presenting on, please note that with your submission and you may be contacted for further information. Once our content development is complete in late January, we’ll send out a follow up email to you with a status update on your submission.
