March 20: Tuesday Day Pass

Convergence Experience Center Pass = $595 More Info +
This pass includes admission to the Convergence Experience Center (which includes the Expo Experience, Microsoft Solutions Experience, and Community Experience areas) ONLY, and the Expo Reception (Monday evening), during posted hours. Note: This pass does NOT provide access to keynotes, sessions, conference meals, Convergence Reception (Sunday evening), or Virtual Convergence content. This pass is non- refundable.
Convergence Reception Guest Pass = $100 More Info +
This pass ONLY includes admission to the Convergence Reception at Minute Maid Park on Sunday March 18 from 6:00-10:00pm. This pass is non-refundable.
This Reception Only guest pass does NOT include access to keynotes, sessions, conference meals, Convergence Experience Center, or Virtual Convergence.
Multiple Employee Discount
If three (3) or more employees associated with the same entity register for the full conference pass and attend the Convergence 2012 event in Houston, TX, Microsoft offers a $100 refund off the third (3rd) and up to seven (7) subsequent registrant’s registration fees for Convergence 2012 associated with the same entity. Conference Pass Details
All conference passes are non-transferrable. Passes cannot be shared or used by anyone other than the person on the registration; name badges used by anyone other than the actual registrant may be revoked without refund.
Substitutions are allowed for all pass types. A new person may substitute for an active registration at the same registration fee.
Government identification (e.g. passport, driver’s license) will be required to check in to the event.
All passes listed below are selectable during the registration process and will not require a registration code.
All Convergence sessions and activities will take place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston, and the adjacent Hilton-Americas. The Convergence Reception on Sunday evening will hosted at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros. Registration Cancellation Policy
All registration cancellations must be received online or in writing via email to Convergence2012@microsoft.crgevents.com by the dates listed below.
Full Conference Event Passes are eligible for a full refund minus $300.00 USD processing fee when cancellation received by 11:59pm Pacific Time on February 27, 2012. No refunds will be issued for registrations cancelled or created after February 27, 2012.
Day Passes/Experience Center Only Passes/Reception Only Passes are non-refundable.
Reception Only Guest Passes refunds will be issued for cancelled reception only guest passes, unless the registrant has checked into the conference.
Substitution Requirements
To perform a substitution, the new registrant must use the secure substitution link after logging into the registration in order to create a new account to associate with that registration. A new person may substitute for an active registration for the same registration fee.
- The original attendee should not cancel the registration.
- If the payment method is changing, the new attendee must provide payment prior to issuing a refund to the original attendee.
- The event team will facilitate the transfer of hotel reservations up to February 27, 2012. Substitutions requested after February 27, 2012 require the attendee to contact the hotel directly with reservation changes.
- The registrant is responsible for canceling or changing travel reservations.
Hotel Reservations, Changes and Cancellations
Please note that only conference hotels will be providing official shuttle service to and from the George R. Brown Convention Center.
Hotel Reservation Cancellation Policy
- Through Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:59pm Pacific Time: Any changes/cancellations must be completed online at Registration Returning Services or by contacting the Convergence 2012 Registration Team via email at Convergence2012@microsoft.crgevents.com.
- After Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:59pm Pacific Time: Any changes/cancellations to your hotel reservation must be handled directly with the hotel.
- Any changes/cancellations to your hotel reservations must be made no later than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date.
- Failure to arrive on your scheduled arrival date will result in the cancellation of the remainder of your hotel reservation and charges to your credit card of one night’s room and tax (17% occupancy tax per night, subject to change).

You may review and make changes to your registration information by going to the Registration website. You may do any of the following once you’ve logged in to your registration:

- View and print your current confirmation information
- Create or edit hotel reservations
- Cancel your registration
- View and print a copy of your current invoice or receipt
