Import Data - Fix Bulk Data Import Jobs

The Bulk Import Wizard provides sales and marketing professionals a means to import large amounts of data, such as contact lists or campaign responses, in a single operation. However, sometimes the Bulk Import Wizard is completed successfully, but the bulk import operation does not finish and the data is not imported into Microsoft CRM. If you view the Bulk Import list, the bulk import job never progresses from a status reason of Pending. This issue can occur if certain Microsoft CRM components are not running or if the components are not configured correctly.
To resolve the issue, have your Microsoft CRM administrator verify on the computer that is running Microsoft CRM Server that the following conditions are true:
| • | The Microsoft CRM Workflow Service is running. |
| • | The Microsoft CRM Workflow Service and the Microsoft CRM application pool (CRMAppPool) in Internet Information Services (IIS) are running under the same user account. |
