At the 2007 K2 Annual Quality Awards, Microsoft Dynamics NAV was the recipient of a Reseller Channel award, recognizing Microsoft Dynamics NAV as an ideal tool for certified public accountants (CPAs). The instructor team from K2 Enterprise, a renowned authority on software products, decided on the award.
In August 2006, the German IT magazine COMPUTERWOCHE measured Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 against two competitors: Sage Office Line 3.4 and SAP Business One 2005. After evaluating each system for its functional scope, adaptability, technology, and future security, the magazine rated Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 as the superior product.
Created by the Virginia-based consulting firm, Solutions, The Accounting Library is a comprehensive industry tool that analyzes business management systems. In 2006, Solutions used the tool to conduct a survey comparing more than 100 midmarket business software systems. The results showed that Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 ranked at, or near, the top in all five areas evaluated. The final rankings listed Microsoft Dynamics NAV as tied for first in basic functionality, overall features, and manufacturing features; third in distribution features; and fifth in out-of-the-box functionality.
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 won in the small to midsize business category in the VARBusiness 2005 Tech Innovator Awards. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 beat more than 500 entries in 11 technology categories. The judges cited the integration capabilities and array of built-in tools offered by Microsoft Dynamics NAV as key factors in selecting the winner.
