Note: If utilizing separate database servers for multiple application databases, each database server must have the appropriate Microsoft software licenses and a Microsoft Dynamics SL system database. The use of this configuration must conform to Microsoft Dynamics SL licensing requirements and some multi-company restrictions will apply. Note that Application Server in Microsoft Dynamics SL does not support Small Business Server 2003.

Additional operating environment requirements
Microsoft Office Project Connector for Microsoft Dynamics SL: Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 SP2 and earlier require Microsoft Project Server 2003. Microsoft Project Server 2003 requires a server-class computer that meets the requirements for the product.
Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 FP1 or later requires Microsoft Project Server 2007 SP1 (SP1 is applied by the Office Server 2007 SP1 update and is required when installing on Windows Server 2008) with the Office Server Infrastructure updates and the Windows SharePoint 3.0 Infrastructure updates packages.
Remote access: To enable remote access, Microsoft Windows Terminal Server and required components are required on a server in your operating environment and Windows Terminal Services Client is required on each workstation that will connect to the Terminal Server. We recommend not exceeding 15 concurrent users per processor.
Printing: Most reports print in landscape mode on 8.5" x 11" paper. For maximum performance, laser printers are recommended.
Internet access: Internet access is required to communicate with support teams to obtain software updates and to automatically submit errors.
