Register early and save! If you register before 11:59pm PT on Friday, January 21, you’ll save $100 and will attend the event at the discounted rate of $495.

Registrations received on Saturday, January 22, until the start of the event will be charged at the full conference fee of $595.

The registration fee includes the sessions, conference materials, ground transportation via bus, and most meals. Your airfare, car rental and hotel costs (room, tax, and incidentals) are your responsibility.

Microsoft Dynamics GP Technical Conference Speaker Information

Alice Newsam
Alice Newsam is a Software Development Engineer in Test for Microsoft Dynamics GP and has been at Microsoft for 12 years. She spent the early years testing the Microsoft Dynamics GP Manufacturing product and currently focuses on Microsoft Dexterity and the Visual Studio Tools SDK.

Brian Meier
Brian Meier is a Senior Program Manager Lead for the Microsoft Dynamics GP development team. Brian has been with Microsoft for over 10 years and in that time has primarily focused on system and business intelligence features. He is currently working on Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 R2 and 12.0 releases.

Char Gust
Char Gust is the group program manager for Corporate Performance Management and Integration features, focusing on Management Reporter, Connector for Dynamics, FRx and Forecaster. She has worked in the software industry since 1992 and has previously worked in various product planning, product management and product marketing roles for Dynamics AX, Great Plains ERP, Supply Chain and Portal products.

David Musgrave
David Musgrave is the creator and primary contributor to the Developing for Dynamics GP MSDN blog. Based in Perth, Western Australia, David has been working as a Microsoft Dynamics GP developer and consultant since 1994. He is currently working with the Microsoft Dynamics GP Asia Pacific support team as their Escalation Engineer. Before joining Microsoft in 2001, David was the owner of Winthrop Dexterity Consultants and before that part owner of Sequel Technology. David is the original author of Named Printers, Omni Tools, Omni Price, Advanced Security, Field Level Security, Business Activity Statement (for Australian GST), Support Debugging Tool, and Menus for Visual Studio Tools, and he has made a number of contributions to the code in the core Microsoft Dynamics GP Dictionary.

Gary Tronson
Gary Tronson is the Senior Development Manager on Microsoft Dynamics®. Gary has been with Microsoft for eight years and has 17 years of experience in the software arena, designing, developing, and supporting business software. Before joining Microsoft, Gary served in roles ranging from customer support to software engineer to vice president of development. He most enjoyed the hands-on aspect involved in the software engineering roles more than anything else. Today he leads the development groups that prototype, build, and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics GP product lines.

Grant Swenson
Grant Swenson is a Software Development Engineer in Test for Microsoft Dynamics GP and has been at Microsoft for seven years. He spent the first years testing the Business Portal product and currently focuses on Test Tools and the Microsoft GP Web Services product.

Jill Carter
Jill Carter is a program manager on the Microsoft Dynamics Corporate Performance Management and Integration team. While Jill’s background is English literature, she fell in love with technology and solving customer problems after starting at FRx in 1999. She supported both FRx and Forecaster before moving into program management in 2002. As a program manager, Jill’s been responsible for identifying customer needs and working with the rest of the development team to turn those needs into features in Management Reporter and Forecaster.

John Dooley
John Dooley has been with Microsoft for nine years and prior to that worked at Great Plains and with four Microsoft Dynamics GP partners over the years. Jon Zimmerman is a Senior Program Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP and joined Microsoft in 2008 from Intuit. His focus is Rapid Implementation Tools and Software plus Services.

Kelly Youells
Kelly is a Support Escalation Engineer on the Microsoft Dynamics System Technical Support Team in Fargo, North Dakota. She has been with Microsoft since May 1999 and provides support for Business Portal, Workflow, Web Services, Updates, Installs, Migrations and System Manager modules. Kelly is a Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Microsoft Certified System Administrator, and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator.

Lori Thalmann Pytlik
Lori Thalmann Pytlik has worked in the business application field for 21 years, working closely with partners in areas of technical sales, development, technical support and training. After managing the US team of technical sales consultants for Dynamics, she worked with the Worldwide Partner Group developing strategy for global delivery of technical sales services. After a brief stint away from Microsoft, Lori returned to Microsoft in 2008 to manage the development of Sure Step.

Mariano Gomez
Mariano Gomez is a Microsoft MVP and the Vice President of Midmarket Solutions at IntellPartners, LLC., a business and technology consulting firm in Atlanta. Mariano is the original developer for the LATAM Spanish version of Microsoft Dynamics GP and brings more than a decade of experience engineering and designing ERP implementations and multi-platform systems integrations around Microsoft technologies. He has consulted for organizations across the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East in a wide variety of industries. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Patrick Roth
Patrick Roth is a Senior Escalation Engineer with the Developer Support team. He started with Great Plains in 1995 supporting financials before moving to the Developer Support team, initially supporting the Import Utility. Through the years, he has supported most of the developer toolsets that this team has supported.
