2  Install the device and its software

Instructions for specific types of devices

To view or print an instruction sheet for installing a specific type of device, click the type of device you are adding. The instruction sheet will open in a separate window. To print the instruction sheet, click the Print button on your browser toolbar.

Note: For your convenience, the installation instruction sheet for each device also includes brief instructions for configuring and testing each device in Microsoft Dynamics RMS. You can get more complete information about these steps from later sections in this tutorial.
