Streamline inventory counts with Microsoft Dynamics RMS

Counting the physical inventory in your store can be an arduous task. Whether you count using pencil and paper or with a portable counting device, Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) can make this process easier and more efficient.

Start by creating count sheets that suit the layout and organization of your store. Microsoft Dynamics RMS makes this easy with a simple wizard. Next, print as many copies as you need, or export the count sheets to your handheld counting device or another software program. When your count is complete, import or type the counted quantities back into Microsoft Dynamics RMS, and then click one button to compare your counted quantities to the quantities in the store database. It’s that easy!

In the latest installment in our series of articles on inventory management, we provide tips, best practices, and step-by-step instructions for making your next inventory count as painless as possible.
