Objective

Use Microsoft Office FrontPage to create an online art gallery for students' work. Here's how:

Create an online art gallery

1.

Collect pictures of your students' artwork in a digital format. You can scan their work or take digital photos.

2.

Once you have all the pictures together on the computer, open FrontPage.

3.

On the Insert menu, click Web Component.

4.

In the Component Type list box, click Photo Gallery. Follow the directions to create a photo gallery complete with thumbnails to view all of the pictures at once.

5.

Ask the students to reflect on their work and add their reflections to the Web page with the full-size picture. Students can tell why they chose certain colors, what mood they were trying to create, or what they like best about their artwork.
