Objective

Use Microsoft Paint to build a house with shapes. Here's how:

Build a house with geometric shapes

1.

Share the story Louise Builds a House by Louise Pfanner.

2.

Have students think about how they can design their own house. Have them think about:

What shapes they will use.

What tools will help them build the shapes.

How they'll know when they're done.

3.

Have each student open the house template in Microsoft Paint. Tell them to use five different shapes to build a house.

4.

When they are done, have them save their work and give their house a name.
