Computer-Assisted Auditing Tutorial

The scenario for this tutorial is an audit engagement with a client that uses Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions–Great Plains). The audit staff is to obtain audit evidence directly from the core financial modules within the software. Each of the 15 projects begins with a statement of the audit objective. A brief discussion of the typical audit procedures follows. The student will then search for the data required to gather the required audit evidence. Each project concludes with a short series of questions.
