 ACT21S is helping transform teaching, learning, and skills assessment so that students can succeed as citizens and workers in the 21st century.  Microsoft and the World Bank are working together to apply information and communications technology (ICT) to support social and economic development in Africa.  The Clinton Global Initiative is developing a best-in-class model for deploying information and communications technology (ICT) in education.  UNESCO and Microsoft are working together to support the use of technology to transform education, reduce poverty, and help address the digital divide.  Microsoft is working on a variety of projects with European Schoolnet (EUN)—a network of 31 ministries and departments of education in Europe and beyond.  The World Economic Forum is working to raise awareness and support to implement relevant, sustainable, and scalable national education plans on a global level.  Microsoft and the OECD are working together on many projects, including the Innovative Teaching and Learning Research project to transform teaching practices.  Microsoft Partners in Learning and the British Council have formed a partnership to help transform education quality and access around the world. |
