Driving directions

  • From Route 495/Washington Beltway
    • Take the Washington Beltway Route 495 to Dulles Toll Road West, Exit 45A, toward Dulles Airport.
    • Proceed through the toll plaza. Exit onto Reston Parkway, Exit 12.
    • Keep right at the ramp, and turn right onto Reston Parkway.
    • At the first stoplight, turn left onto Sunset Hills Road.
    • Take an immediate right into the Two Discovery Square parking lot.
  • From Dulles Airport
    • Depart Washington Dulles International Airport, and follow signs to Dulles Toll Road, east toward Washington, D.C.
    • At Exit 12, turn off onto the ramp toward Reston Parkway.
    • Travel through the toll booth, and turn left onto Reston Parkway.
    • At the second stoplight, turn left onto Sunset Hills Road.
    • Take an immediate right into the Two Discovery Square parking lot.

    • At the stoplight turn left. Drive one-half block. The entrance to the garage is on the left side of Lake Street.
  • From the south on Lake Shore Drive
    • Take Lake Shore Drive North to the Randolph Drive exit.
    • Turn left. Drive 2 blocks to Columbus Drive. At the stoplight turn right immediately into the left lane.
    • Drive one block on Lake Street.
    • At the stoplight turn left. Drive one-half block.

    • From Dallas Love Field airport turn right onto Mockingbird Lane West.
    • Take Mockingbird to 183 West.
    • Take Hwy 114 West (Grapevine/DFW Airport).
    • Take the SH 161 (George Bush Turnpike) exit.
    • Turn right at the light onto the access road for SH 161 North (George Bush Turnpike).
    • Go about 1 mile and the two Microsoft red brick buildings are on your right just before you come to MacArthur Blvd.*
  • From Downtown Dallas
    • Take Interstate 35 North to Hwy 114.
    • Take Hwy 114 West (Grapevine/DFW Airport).
    • Take the SH 161 (George Bush Turnpike) exit.
    • Turn right at the light onto the access road for SH 161 North (George Bush Turnpike).
    • Go about 1 mile and the two Microsoft red brick buildings are on your right just before you come to MacArthur Blvd.*

    • Follow signs to freeways; this will put you on SR-518 eastbound, and you'll want to merge carefully.
    • Follow signs to I-405. Take the I-405 North-Renton exit (exits from center lane).
    • Continue on north I-405 through Renton and Bellevue (approximately 14 miles).
    • Take the SR-520 east exit toward Redmond. Go approximately 4 miles
    • Exit SR-520 at the NE 40th Street exit. Turn right at end of ramp onto NE 40th Street.
    • Turn right at light onto 156th Avenue NE.
    • Turn left at second light, NE 36th Street, to enter campus
    • Follow NE 36th Street until you get to 36th Way.
    • Where 36th Street and 36th Way intersect stay to the right.
    • Microsoft Conference Center is on the left marked building #33.
    • Parking is located in the parking garage underneath the building.

  • From south on I-405
    • Travel south on I-405 towards Renton and Bellevue.
