With most software packages you will be required to download an ISO file which you will need to burn to a CD or a DVD in order to install it onto your computer. By looking at the file name
you will be able to determine the type of media that you need to use (the file will include either “CD” or “DVD” as part of its name.) NOTE: with some software package downloads you will
receive an executable file that can be downloaded and installed onto your computer immediately."
