Introduction to Mobile Application Development Using Silverlight

This course teaches students through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and homework assignments. Students learn the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to develop a mobile application on the Windows Phone 7 platform using Microsoft Silverlight.

Prior to taking this course, you should have some background in programming (preferably C#, but C, C++, Java helps).

Michael Iantosca

Michael Iantosca is the President and founder(1999) of eDefine, Inc– a small software consulting firm specializing in Silverlight RIAs and ASP.NET Webforms and MVC solutions. He took the lead in implementing web technologies for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care at the beginning of the web’s popularity in 1994. His application that helped Harvard Community Health Plan doctors and front line staff identify areas for improvements in the delivery of care won the 1994 SAS Institute’s Enterprise Computing Award. Michael bridges the business and technology gap by blending his experience in process re-engineering with software architecture and development. Michael’s passion for new technology and compelling user experiences keeps him constantly learning about the latest .NET based offerings and software development techniques. Michael obtained a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University.
