Receiving your Campus and School Agreement software
You can begin using the Campus or School Agreement software once Microsoft ships you the software CDs.

Upon activation of the agreement, you will be shipped one complimentary Starter Kit containing CDs for the Campus and School Agreement application products you ordered. You will also be registered for one complimentary Update Subscription. With this subscription, you will automatically receive a CD for any upgrades or updates to those products during your subscription term. Additional Starter Kits and Update Subscriptions may be acquired through your reseller.
 Note Installation media for Microsoft Learning Essentials is only available by downloading from the Microsoft Volume License Services Web site. If you license Encarta software, your media is shipped in a separate kit. Use the "Encarta Reference Kit" section of the media order form to order the applicable Encarta media kit.
Additional kits (called Comprehensive Kits) may be acquired through your reseller using the  Campus and School Agreement Starter Kit order form (173 KB Microsoft Excel file). If you suspect that you have a damaged Volume Licensing CD, first verify that you are not trying to setup a Macintosh CD on a PC platform or vice versa. To obtain a replacement, please contact your reseller and supply the following information:
- End Item product part number (as displayed on CD label)
- Product name/description
- Language
- Subscription Enrollment number
- A brief description of what's wrong with the CD (the error message you receive)
Your replacement CD(s) will be shipped immediately upon receipt of the order from your reseller.
Additional subscriptions may be acquired through your reseller using the Campus and School Agreement Subscription Change form (587 KB Microsoft Excel file). This form can also be used to make the following changes:
- Change Ship-to Contact name
- Change Ship-to Address information
- Change the number of media update subscriptions you receive
- Add or remove product languages/groups
All subscriptions will be prepaid to coincide with the term of the agreement. An Update Subscription can be started at any time during the agreement term, but must terminate on end date of the agreement. Therefore, the calculation for the payment amount is as follows:
Price per SKU = SKU monthly price x number of full months remaining on agreement
Orders received at any point after the first of the month will be billed effective with the next full month.
Examples:
- A new PO for a billable kit is submitted April 1, 2008 for an agreement that ends on December 31, 2008. Invoice amount = Subscription SKUs monthly price multiplied by 9.
- A new PO for a billable kit is submitted April 3, 2008 for an agreement that ends on December 31, 2008. Invoice amount = Subscription SKUs monthly price multiplied by 8.
