Microsoft IT Academy Program Advanced level members are entitled to one membership in the MSDN Academic Alliance (MSDN AA) Program. MSDN AA is the easiest and least expensive way for students and faculty in the technology and design fields to get the latest Microsoft software that they need. MSDN AA now refers to a family of memberships that are available to meet the different needs of the academic audience.
Developer Academic Alliance (Developer AA)
membership, formerly known as MSDN AA, provides the easiest and least expensive way for universities to make the latest Microsoft software available in labs, in classrooms, and on student computers. Developer AA is an annual membership for departments that use technology in support of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) courses.
Designer Academic Alliance (Designer AA) membership is for Art/Design schools and universities to make the latest Microsoft Expression design tools available in labs, classrooms, and on student computers. Designer AA is an annual membership for departments that use technology in support of Visualization, Illustration, Design, and Art (VIDA) courses.
