Think About... how you can reinforce math concepts using Word.

How does this look?

After you have introduced and reviewed math concepts in class, you can have students interact with a Word document to demonstrate their understanding. You can have them change the font, use the draw tools, insert a graphic and practice other word processing skills to demonstrate their understanding of math concepts.

Templates

This example reinforces the concepts of mean, median, mode, range, maximum, and minimum. Once you have done this with your students, have them think of different ways to practice new concepts. You can use other programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint to have your students animate objects or add slide transitions to demonstrate concepts.
