Objective

Use Microsoft Office OneNote to create a personalized study guide. Here's how:

Create a study guide

1.

Start OneNote.

2.

Set up a template notebook using OneNote by identifying key areas of study. Save the notebook.

3.

Within each area of study, the students take notes, draw diagrams, and insert text and images about the topic.

4.

Students can use a variety of sources to collect and organize their notes. OneNote enables students to:

Paste images and text from Microsoft Internet Explorer (images and text are cited automatically).

Paste images and text from Microsoft Encarta online encyclopedia (images and text are cited automatically).

Create diagrams using the Ink tool.

Record audio notes.
