This integrated science, reading, and language arts project is an extension activity to a FOSS Science Unit on sound. The FOSS Science program is a national science curriculum that provides hands-on science activities for students. This project cements together theory with hands-on experience for deeper scientific understanding.

Objectives

Students will use the Microsoft PowerPoint presentation graphics program to develop skills in organizing data for reports.

Students will apply concepts of sound by gathering facts about animals and sound.

Students will share information about sound and animals with reports and PowerPoint presentations.
