Desktop Product Manager (Estonia)
Job purpose:
Product manager for Microsoft desktop products (key focus on Microsoft Office System products, Exchange and Windows desktop operating systems) is responsible to drive sales and marketing activities that make a direct and measurable impact for this strategic part of business at Microsoft. This position is created for a business experienced person with strong marketing skills. She/he will be a member of the Business Marketing Organization (BMO) for Microsoft Estonia and reporting to the Estonian BMO Lead.
Main responsibilities:
• Driving desktop products business across a range of internal and external parties, including internal sales force, customers across different segments and partner channel.
• Planning and owning overall profit and loss (P&L) performance of the business group in Estonia
• Driving competitive strategy and being responsible for market understanding and initiatives required to guarantee products success.
• Implementing, tracking and measuring marketing strategies, tactics and programs for the business group products.
• Developing customer campaigns targeting specific areas of opportunity for the business; allocating and ensuring effective spend of marketing budget across activities.
• Being the internal and external spokesperson for desktop products.
Qualifications and Competencies:
• 3-5 years experience in Sales & Marketing in IT sector.
• Business, MBA or related degree.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft and competitive products.
• Excellent business skills and proven experience in successful growth and P&L management.
• Proven track record in business development and building new businesses.
• Ability to develop efficient strategies for complex projects involving many groups.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Estonian and English languages.
• Dynamic and creative personality.
• Cheerful and ‘never give up’ approach to new things.
