
Claude Changarnier

As vice president of finance and administration for Microsoft International, Claude Changarnier is responsible for the financial control and operations of 75 sales and support subsidiaries throughout the world. In this role, Claude oversees the financial integrity of Microsoft International, which accounts for $16 billion (US) in annual revenue.
Claude was named to his current position in 2005, after having served as vice president of finance and administration for Microsoft EMEA since 2003 and controller of the EMEA region since 1995. Between 1995 and 2003, he led the effort to establish an efficient finance organisation that supported the growth of Microsoft’s business and maintained the necessary internal controls and transparency. Claude joined Microsoft in 1992 as director of finance and operations for Microsoft France, Spain and Portugal, a position he held until 1995.
Before joining Microsoft, Claude was chief financial officer at CAP Sesa Defense, a subsidiary of the Cap Gemini Sogeti Group. His early career experience includes tenures as controller of Matra Systems and as an auditor at Helios-Streco-Durando, the French representative of Ernst & Young.
Claude holds a masters degree in business from Ecoles Supérieures de Commerce et d’Administration des Entreprises (ESCAE) Le Havre-Caen and a Diplôme d’Etudes Comptables Supérieures (DECS), an advanced accounting degree.
