I came into Microsoft as a university hire last year and that in itself was a bit of a challenge. I had to fly all over the world to meet new people but I have also had to concentrate on the work that I was doing here in Microsoft South Africa.

It was quite exciting because I met so many new people. The training that went on was actually beneficial for my role in Sales. They teach you to deal with people, they teach you to deal with your managers, with customers and the whole process that Microsoft has internally. It basically shows you what Microsoft stands for and not just the money side of things, but also technology wise. It shows you what we’re going to concentrate on, what we’re going to give our customers and hopefully, get our customers to buy into.

Who wouldn’t be happy or chuffed to work for the best company to work for, for 5 years running? That in itself explains what Microsoft is all about.
