Authorised Education Resellers (AERs) The AER programme is currently available in the following countries throughout EMEA: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom. Large Account Resellers (LARs) LARs are authorised to sell the complete range of licences from Microsoft including Enterprise Agreement and Commercial Select as well as Campus Agreement and Academic Select. They now include prospective students, alumni, and students and faculty of collaborating institutions. If you’re a HE or FE institution, this annual licensing programme was created specifically to meet your needs. For this annual, renewable licensing option, you pay one yearly payment, based on staff count and product selection, with the option of including students. Once you’ve signed the agreement, you’ll receive confirmation for the licences you acquire each month. Campus Agreement gives institutions several support options, including Microsoft Certified Solution Providers and purchasing support. If you’re a student or a teacher in full or part time education, this is the right licence for you. It makes it much easier and more affordable to purchase and derive benefits from Microsoft software. Just open the box, install the software and use the telephone or Internet to get your Product Activation Key. Then you can start using the product straight away. This licence offers installation support and covers Microsoft Office 2003 Standard for Students and Teachers, which includes Word 2003, Excel 2003, PowerPoint 2003 and Outlook 2003. Academic institutions that have Select or Campus agreements can license their students cheaply and effectively using Student Select. This is the most cost-effective way of obtaining certain key desktop products including MS Office, OneNote and Windows Upgrade. In certain countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Microsoft products can be downloaded quickly and at a cost saving. Visit www.studentoptions.com to find out more. If you are a small organisation with at least two desktops and want to take advantage of the pricing benefits that buying multiple licences brings, this might be the right option for your institution. If you are an eligible institution with more than 250 desktops, then this licensing programme might be for you. This three-year licensing option provides you with volume pricing across the whole organisation. You simply sign an agreement and then receive confirmation for the licences that you acquire each month.
