Microsoft Outlook

Keep in Touch with Classmates or Colleagues at Any Time

Open the lines of communication with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. Give students the freedom to collaborate by e-mail with fellow students. Put them in touch with teachers at school or from home, and help them manage their schedule and plan their week.

Outlook e-mail is easy to use, and encourages students to ask questions or share information with fellow students at a time that suits them. They can also use Outlook to manage their classes and study schedule, keep track of project deadlines, and set new tasks.

Outlook helps teachers to stay in touch with students outside of lessons with e-mail. You can deliver information to individuals, or to large groups of students or colleagues, and send reminders to help students meet deadlines. Using Outlook 2003, you can share your calendar with fellow teachers, organise your contacts, and set up staff meetings quickly and easily.

Word or Excel documents can be attached to Outlook messages at the click of a mouse, making it easy to pass on outstanding pieces of work to other teachers or distribute them to your class.
